There are a few options.
- Navigate to the “Type here, LSAT Writing essay text area” via the rotor (VO+U).
Mac/Chrome Rotor: access writing area in the “Landmarks” menu, the “Form Controls” menu, and the “Text Fields” menu of the Rotor.
Mac/Firefox Rotor: access writing area in the “Frames” menu of the Rotor. - User can keyboard navigate (VO + right arrow) into LSAT Writing text editor, press enter and begin typing.
- User can keyboard Tab and Shift+Tab into and out of the “LSAT Writing essay text area”, then begin typing.
- Sighted users able to use a mouse can also click into the editor and begin typing.
Note: When in the “LSAT Writing essay text area”, user may not be able to access some of the voiceover commands/keystrokes. Once out of the text editor, user will be able to access these commands as usual.
Note: With VO special keys locked, VO users can access the text editor via using the VO Rotor. User must unlock the VO special keys to begin typing.
Mac/Chrome Rotor: access writing area in the “Landmarks” menu, the “Form Controls” menu, and the “Text Fields” menu of the Rotor.
Mac/Firefox Rotor: access writing area in the “Frames” menu of the Rotor.
Note: If you have already typed some text into the text editor, upon re-entering the cursor may be positioned at the end of the text.
